Description
RUST REMOVER PLUS is a very effective concentrated product designed to remove rust stain and to maintain anti- corrosive properties. It is a non-flammable liquid detergent, containing anticorrosion inhibitors, non-ionic biodegradable surfactants and a rust-dissolving acid.
Its composition meets the criteria for not being harmful to the marine environment according to MARPOL Annex V.

Use and dosing
Before applying RUST REMOVER PLUS, ensure surface to be cleaned if free from scale, excess oil and dirt. Then apply RUST REMOVER PLUS as follows:
The dosage rate is 1 part of product per 1 part of water for severely corroded surfaces and pickling of welding repairs.
A solution of 20-50% should be used forless severely corroded or soiled surfaces and tarnish on copper and brass.After 15– 40 minutes, rinse off surface with water.
When used on aluminum surfaces or surfaces less rusted, dosage rate is 1 part of product per 2-5 parts of water.Rub as much as required, but leave product for no more than 5 minutes and then rinse with fresh water.
On painted surfaces, use 1 part of prod-uct per 2-5 parts of water and rinse off with water 15–20 min. after application.
On ceramic tiles, enamels, porcelain, glass etc., use 1 part of product per 1-4 parts of water, depending on the contamination.Rinse off with water after 20–40 minutes.
For light rust and scale in pipelines and tanks, recirculate a solution of 5–10% RUST REMOVER PLUS.For discoloration of stainless steel and epoxy coated tanks use the same method.
For white residues from epoxy-coatings that sometimes remains after carriage of Stearin, Olein, Palm fatty acid etc., recircu-late a solution of 5–10% RUST REMOVER PLUS. When injected, use a 5% solution. Recirculate or inject until residue is removed. Do not leave the product to dry on metal surfaces as it may leave a white deposit.
